Counselling for asylum and foreign law

The free legal counselling provided by Caritas Styria is intended to help people find their way in Austria and to give them an overview of their legal situation.
The clarification of the right of residence and the associated integration perspectives are the foundation for an independent and self-determined life of migrants. As a legal advice centre, we offer migrants free legal counselling, support and representation in questions concerning the right of residence. We are also happy to support you in preparing, accompanying and representing you at meetings with authorities and in court.
We advise and support you in personal talks on questions regarding asylum and foreign law. We clarify your perspective on residence law and inform you about procedures, the legal situation in your individual case and the content and consequences of official decisions. We support you in safeguarding your interests in the proceedings by submitting pleadings and appeals. In addition, we also offer legal advice, information and support in the areas of employment of foreigners, citizenship, Union law and social law matters.
